Combi boiler has gone on the fritz, contacted the engineer who usually deals with it, he can't come out til the 11th! Rather than calling some random engineer (don't know what you are getting) I asked if he'd recommend someone else. "Don't do recommendations"! Thank you very much.

I've emailed the company he used to work for before he set out on his own. If it had been a couple of days before he could come out fine but I'm not sitting with no heating and having to boil kettle for nearly a fortnight.

Lonely days are long
Twilight sings a song
All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

Well the sun came out & burnt all the haze away so I thought why there's a bit of warmth in the air I'll get a couple of coats of lacquer of that spray/repair job I did the other week.
I can recommend that gravity fed spray gun I got off ebay last week to replace my old one, it's got a great smooth control with good adjustment & spray pattern, it's superb for the money.

Brew time why I wait to put another coat of lacquer on. you can get a litre of ready to use lacquer for the same price as an aerosol can these days

"Luckily" its happened during a warm spell but house is a wee bit cool in the evening. Got one of those oil filler radiator jobbies, dug it out of the cupboard.

Suzy keeps wandering around the house looking for her little pal, Pops. She's outside in the groomer's van getting a hair do!
