I have to say that it looks a lot better than the Chinese spec one!

Just a bit worrying that it says that it will only be available with one 104 bhp petrol engine though!

Are they dusting off the 1.4 K Series?

Wheels look a bit too small for the car. Otherwise it looks OK.

Would have to concur, but to be fair to them, so will most of it's competitors!

That looks much better than the Chinese version we've been seeing so far. I like what I see, may even be tempted myself once more info is made available. 1.4l 104ps worries me, has K-series written all over it. I don't think they are bad units, but the rest of the UK market will run and hide. They need a small 1.2 tce unit really, nasp is dated now. And they need a sports one!

Looks promising, it is early days after all!

If it's petrol and manual only, it'll sell the same amount of units as the MG 6, which is a shame for the Marque!

Sales of small petrols still outstrip diesels by some margin.

Not impressed but then I wasn't when the Chinese version appeared a couple of years ago.. but then again I won't be in the market for something so small. If I was i'd get a new Yaris

Lets face it the chinese wanted the name for its prestige, but doesnt give a **** about the uk market given how the treat their appointed agents my logal dealer pulled out of the franchise when MG UK said no cars if you dont pay all up front before delivery !! and this in straitend times.

The care they could have sold in large numbers was the Roewe 750 which at least has the merit of looking like an updated Rover.

The new MG's look like every other small to medium car on the market in fact debadge them and you will have hard time sorting out who was who

So I will be sticking with my faithful R75 which is better than any of the
chinese products by a very long way IMHO
