Default Any one else have a 'fried' I pod

Fitted the unit this morning...
Tested the I pod...lovely....then took the I pod indoors and now...nothing, narda..zero...dead as a dodo.
It is an ex I pod....!!!
Please has anyone any ideas...I fast becoming very cheesed off with this so called wonder piece of equipment......

Have you tried re-setting it? Often works.
