Clutch pedal linked to engine revs??
Hi everyone. Odd question but is the clutch pedal somehow linked to engine revs?
In short, occasionally my revs dip a little, seeming to drag, but pushing the clutch pedal in and out seems to bring them back to normal? In neutral obviously. Mk1 MGZTT 2.0 cdti (remapped if that alters anything at all) Thanks Eddie Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes there is a switch on the clutch pedal so the ECM knows when you have pressed the pedal down. The drop in revs is normal for the earlier manual cars. Once you come to a stop the revs pick up again to engine idle speed.
