I cancelled sometime ago as I did not know where I would be, Essex or Cornwall.

You'll probably need a course of doxycycline or similar. You'll be told to stay out of sunlight, avoid sunbeds, drink plenty of water and not take indigestion remedies. Potentially very nasty if left untreated. Make sure you keep that doctors appointment.

A huge horse fly bite had taken it's toll on my arm, got bitten on both arms but the left one was the worse. It got so bad and swollen that I could bend my arm.

The nurse put my arm in a sling to keep my arm up. Got to drink lots of fluids but alas no ale or any malts.
Got a doctors appointment tomorrow so I should get it all sorted.

Just had the delivery of citric candles from ebay, working great at the moment, the flies are non too keen on the scent.
