That's 34 amp plus what ever the rear screen pulls.
That's some power been used. Mine also has a relay for both sides

Good news, the second batch of heated front windscreens is going ahead. I will now be taking names ready for deposits.

Well so far we have a total of 9 orders, 4 on here and 5 from facebook. 1 more and we're half way there to our target of 20 orders minimum

Once members who expressed interest in this, notice how things have progressed, plus the help with relays etc that number will soon shoot up I'm sure!!

May take a drive over to see you when fitted to ask you to work some magic on wiring it up.

Never know may even upgrade the headlights.( don't tell the misses)

for those interesting to see how well these screens work, here's a video demo video on youtube Not of a 75 or ZT unfortunately but of a MG TF fitted with a heated windscreen produced by the same company who would be making ours Goes from frosted to fully deiced in under 2 minutes

For those that are wondering how long the heated screens take to work I took 3 photos of mine this morning.

This was taken before I switched the car on and it was -1 here.


This one was taken 60 seconds later


And this was taken after 120 seconds.


This was easily cleared with the wipers and I was driving down the road. No scraping. Well worth the cost in my view.
