Default Key fob replacement

Morning All,
Can anyone explain why my key isn't able to start the car after i renewed the plastic bits?
It looks and unlocks on on the buttons.
Kind Regards

Did you remember to transfer the transponder chip to the new fob?

The most common mistake (transponder not swapped) & very easy to do if you're not aware.

Let's hope you haven't thrown the old plastic bits away!

And if you have, I can assist in making a new transponder

Default Sourcing a second key with transponder: Australia

I have recently purchased a second hand 2004 75 Club but it only has one key. How do I go about sourcing a second key with a transponder? I am in Queensland Australia?
Regards
Jeffrey

Someone recently asked a similar question but the keys had been stolen so they had none at all. I spoke with XPART in UK and they have advised Paradise Garage Sydney can order keys to code off the VIN
Phone 0293137866.
Not sure if anything came of it.
I understand the orders go through Hotbray in UK - http://www.hotbray.co.uk/mg-rover/
