Provident Insurance?
I've been trying to ring the company 03330240123 for hours but always get a system is busy message! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Update I had a query about my protected no claim discount. They finally rang me and said it couldn't be protected after a policy had started. I cancelled the policy ( £50+ charge !) Still cheaper to get an alternative quote and pay the fees. I was trying to transfer my no claims from my 05 Connie (now sold) to the Cowley car. (£25+) charge yesterday!!! So £75 in charges in two days!!! Complaint procedure is ongoing (but we all know where it is actually going!!!) The Connie was with quote me happy but they wouldn't transfer the cover from the Connie to the Cowley car! They didn't want to cover it at all. New cover with Halifax Insurance, no added excesses apart from £100 standard, legal cover and protected no claims for near enough £200 all in. result!

Update! I got a phone call out of the blue saying that my complaint was to be investigated - again! About a week later, I got a letter, followed by a hamper, apologising for the mistakes and the way I was treated. I am also to be sent a cheque for £100. The sweeties in the hamper have helped to lessen the bad taste that I had in my mouth!

Every time I used to change my car the "cheaper companies" on the comparison sites they used to charge £30 a pop for admin charges. I used to change my cars like my underpants which equates to 2 times a year and used to do my head in.
Im with Direct line and they dont charge admin fees and I bought a 2007 BMW 320d M Sport with 132k on the clock and when I changed it to a 2010 BMW 320d M sport with 20 hp more power and only 100k they sent me a cheque for £32! Just had my car chipped by Bluefin which puts the BHP upto 275 BHP from 225 BHP it was an extra £36 a year. Bargain! |
