All three of my cars are with Aviva, my main daily which is a 1.8 Connie plus my two 2.5's, arranged direct with them only a couple of months ago, so can't understand why the sudden change of heart.

Mine is 21 and I have no idea what it means.🤔

I grew up in a time when insurance quotes went from 1 to 20. 😐

The figure is a simple way to rate a car as to the frequency of claims in which it is involved: the likelihood of that particular car being involved in an accident according to actuary's statistics, colours, range of expense required to repair, trade values and just about anything you can think of that might involve expense in any claim. In addition to that there is the standing of the proposer and drivers, where parked, all the personal risk profile of the individual, the occupation and lifestyle.

Tried phoning them today but interminable 'on hold' took its effect. In the end got good cover and reasonable cost: Lancaster for the Mazda and Tesco, I kid you not, for the Rover.

Thanks to all.
