Have a fantastic time. I last went there a decade ago, left behind a Volvo estate after the head gasket went on it.
Now there's irony !! |

Enjoy your trip Dave, when you get back, we will have to arrange getting those carpets done. Working on the coaches until 20th, so speak to you after then.

Had a lovely day at Exmouth today.went from dawlish to Starcross in car then caught foot ferry to exmouth.nice walk along sea front.what a great beach.then into town for a bit to eat .a nice walk through a park & gardens back to seafront. Sat on beach and went for paddle.then went down to harbour for ferry . Had a bit of time to kill so went for a ice cream.then wanted a wee so had to go in the pub and have a pint so I could use the loo.it's a hard life down here on holiday. While in Exmouth seen a blue rover 75 been used as a taxi.first time in many a year I've seen one as a taxi.people down here do things in style then back on ferry to Starcross and a 4 mile drive down to leadstone camping. Tuesday night the pizza van is on site so had one for tea.now going to open a couple of cans and relax after a good day.it's a hard life this holiday lark

Another great couple of days in dawlish.wed we went into Teignmouth had a look around.what a lovely place.took a boat trip up the coast and back from the harbour nice hour & a bit. Then had a bit of lunch back to leadstone campsite before walking 5 minutes to nearest pub for nice meal and watch match.today went to Torquay and went on ferry to Brixham nice look round and had a bit of lunch before catching ferry back to Torquay. Now sat outside tent having a whisky.
Operamagorum I can recommend leadstone camping when you come down.as long as you want a quiet site with no nightclubs and drunks coming back at 2 in the morning.we often sit outside tent till midnight with a whisky and Jo on the wine..they have a website if you are interested. Let me know what you think dave |
