Default Will I ever understand Females?

Picture this, just got in from my morning jog, went to remove my trainers and put on my house slipper but they not there by the back door, June walks in a says “if you’re looking for your slippers, you left then in the lounge when you changed” so I said “why didn’t you bring them to the back door? You knew I would need them”!
She gave me ‘the look’ you know the one that says whose slave do you think I am.
I’ve been married for 45 years but I doubt that I shall ever understand by what logic the female mind works to!

therein lies the problem.

The female mind does not work to anything resembling logic. To accept this is the first step. To acknowledge that you will never understand the female mind and just accept that they will baffle you is the path to enlightenment.

Do not worry about what you will never understand nor will ever change.

Surely the logic on this occasion is quite straight forward?

She still labours under the rather hopeful expectation, even after 45 years, that hubby will learn from his mistakes.....

I think the implied logic in this case would be that one should not change one shoes in the living room but keep the shoes and therefore the shoe-changing process to the back-door area.

Mind you, my missus has bought a door mat recently and says should I ever get it dirty I'd be in deep trouble. When I questioned the purpose of the mat as a mat I got told that my logic in thinking that a door mat was for wiping ones feet was, in fact, incorrect and that they purely served a decorative role and therefore should be untouched my mankinds (dirty) foot steps...

So, logic - but not as we know it.

Our lives together wouldn't be the same if my missus had to break the habit of removing my shoes from the bedroom each evening after I return home from a hard day at the office, taking them back down to the shoe rack by the back door, for me to wear to work again the next morning...and so on...what would she do if they weren't there one time

what you need is a doormat mat. Or if she gets really pernicketty about that one too, a doormat mat mat.
