Default Will 1.8T custom stainless exhaust fit 2.5 v6?

My 1.8T is about dead so going to upgrade to a 2.5 v6

Have a custom 2.5" stainless cat-back on the 1.8T, anyone know if it will fit on a 2.5 v6 as is or with minor modification...?

Cheers

You should be able to get the back box to fit as the 190 and 1.8t exhausts are the same diameter but any further back it is quite different.

Thanks man, its hard to see from the parts diagrams on Rimmers

This is basically a "straight" through pipe with no mid boxes and a decent backbox, so im hoping with the bends looking similarly placed and no boxes to fit into recesses, and the flexi looking similarly placed it may just fit...

Pretty certain the 1.8T and the 190 are the same. and the only difference between the ordinary 2.5 and the 190 is the bore size of the exhaust AFTER the cat so don't see you having a problem at all.

Well I've done it the other way, after upgrading to an 1800 from a V6, so yes it's possible
