Well this has been a most entertaining read!!!
My vote is for the rollerdisco! Xanadu ˈzanəduː/ noun noun: Xanadu; plural noun: Xanadus an idealized place of great or idyllic magnificence and beauty.

Thomas , it’s a lovely pipedream but financially and realistically totally impractical more so as Birmingham City Council drew up plans for the Longbridge regeneration back in 2009 and the current owners already have development plans in place beyond their current Longbridge development for new commercial and residential properties once SAIC decide to give up their lease. I can find no reference that they have any intention of selling. Why would they? It’s a nice little earner for them.
However, you may have some merit for perhaps a joint clubs venue but I would suggest on a much, much smaller scale both in size and cost. Ideally, something like a surplus car dealers site might fit the bill. Then you would have a ready made facility not only for display of vehicles and basic facilities but also workshops. To purchase and maintain such a facility would still require major financial commitment with no realistic income stream from the public and I’m pretty sure that most owners and enthusiasts would not be able or are capable of funding such a long term commitment or even have any enthusiasm for it; bearing in mind we and our cars are a dwindling lot. Raising funds to feed the poor old Rev Jules has got to be our first priority BUT don’t let this dampen your enthusiasm, some dreams can come true, (but definitely not this one), the path to them is not always easy or simple

Wilcox had some of the half-built shells from there - they stripped them back down to separate parts. I bought some bits from them over a year ago that were just such parts, a rear subframe, and other things when I had the diesel.

If the factory isn't going to build cars again (I'm confident it won't) then it should be razed and redeveloped for housing. I would sooner see a derelict industrial site rejuvenated than lose the equivalent greenfield.
I do however think there is some mileage in the retention of a small portion of the Longbridge site for heritage purposes. The CABs have little historic value but the Kremlin, Elephant House and Conference Centre do. Fortunately these buildings are within the nucleus of the SAIC/MG Motor site so are safe for the time being, and should continue to provide us enthusiasts with our 'Mecca'.

From memory, the Kremlin is being/has been pulled down. The Elephant House is still MG's sales centre for the area of course. Not entirely sure what the plans for the Conference Centre are.

The Elephant House has been mothballed, the Conference Centre is now the Sales Centre and the 'Cecil Kimber MG Academy', whatever that is.
