Rocker trim removed for WAXOLYING

Managed to remove the rocker sill trim and only broke one clip out of the 12. Next job is to inject Waxoyl into the holes. What is the best way to do this?

Why not use Dynax from Bilt Hamber? In my opinion, superior to waxoil and also comes complete with a flexi lance.

Seen this product mentioned on here before so have taken the plunge and ordered a couple of cans of S50. Hope that's enough for rust-free April 05 car.

I've still got 1/2 tin left after doing mine

I also sprayed into the bonnet where possible, it runs nicely into all the crevices

Great stuff, as are most of Bilt Hamber products

Waxoyl will need heating up in a bucket of hot water for a while before spraying into cavities. You can buy hand-operated spray guns with a lance to fit onto tins/cartridges of waxoyl. for spraying into cavities. I tip the waxoyl into Shutz gun cartridges, then use a Shutz gun connected to my compressor- this gets the waxoyl well into sills etc.

i used a garden spray modded a bit..

Thin it down with white spirit. and catch all the drips

The waxoyl hand-pumps and lances were rubbish back in the seventies and they are still rubbish today. I wasted more good money on buying the kits and white spirit just a few years ago. Will hope that I have better luck with Bilt Hamber's gear.

First time I used Waxoyl must be nigh-on 30 years ago and I still use it - but only if I'm out of Bilt-Hamber. Waxoyl can be very messy to use while the likes of Dynax is quick and easy (the flexible lances are excellent) and has a much lower odour. First time I used Waxoyl was in some doors and sills, thinned down a bit with white spirit. For a couple of weeks afterwards it was a bit ripe inside!

I remember using Waxoil back in the mid 80's on a Triumph GT6 that I rebuild, and as Pete says ..... boy did it stink inside for several months .....

I've nearly a gallon of Waxoyl, so not thinking of wasting it. Maybe if I'd seen the alternatives first I would have used this!
