Default 0870 and 0845 numbers

If like me you have free calls with your telephone provider and hate paying to ring 0870 and 0845 numbers this is worth a look

Yes a Popular site,
but many companies alter their numbers once listed,
Sky TV being a prime example.
So just check first as some entries are incorrect quite quickly.
One company wouldn't even put you through to correct department as they knew you were bypassing the 0870 number.

Slightly off topic

For the past fortnight the number above has rung daily, until today rather than being a silent call it was a lady from British Gas.

She said "as you know wholesale energy prices are going up 70% in the coming months". I told her "don't be so ****** stupid wholesale Gas & Oil future prices are coming down, the 70% figure was announced by your company last month, so that the actual 35 - 44% increase they announced last week dosen't seem so bad. Why would I want to come back to your company when it took me 18 months to try and pay them?"

She just Oh ok then.

on topic
I have used saynoto0870 to contact HMRC & the DVLA but it didn't work, but other numbers have British Gas being one of them.
