It's a grey old day out there this morning.

Cubby has decided it's a duvet day

Morning all, it was monsoon season on the way to work, dried out now with the sun making an appearance.

Cubby has the best idea, Tansy the only one of our cats that go out in the garden turned her nose up at going out today, She's curled up asleep on the sofa. It's still raining heavily here with no let up in sight & the standing rain water is a bugs thingymebob from going into the garage

As its a grim day out there and I'm not at work I have been keeping busy in the kitchen this morning

Knocked up some more Pork Sausage Meat, Chestnut and Cranberry stuffing which is now in the freezer to use when needed.

After that I seared some boneless chicken, prepared some veg and flung it all in the slow cooker.
Should be ready in about six hours (give or take) and then I will lightly blend it and add some double cream and croutons to make soup for tonight

Still got plenty of plum crumble left to eat as well

That looks fit for a king Jeff, That sausage meat stuffing looks delicious, I'll need to try that for Christmas dinner.
I've made a couple of small salmon fillets in the air fryer wrapped in foil with butter and egg noodles/stir fry veg & one with fried rice for tea tonight after yesterdays pieathon There was some filling & pastry left over so I made a couple of small pasties too that got scoffed as well

Looking good there Ian.
Who says us Men can't multi task......Two frying pans on the stove at once

I'm going to be trying my hand at making some wholemeal pastry soon.

Chicken shredded and a few pulses on the hand blender to roughly mix the veg.
On for another half an hour and then I'll add some double cream and croutons.

Got some part baked rolls to heat up to go with the soup
