Default Sat nav stopped working

Hi all, I recently installed a navall 3 everything was working fine until yesterday when the satnav froze/stopped working mid journey. I had to press the reset button to unfreeze the unit and now the satnav doesn't work it keeps telling me to insert the igo data card which is already inserted. I have tried taking the card out and reinserting it but I still get the same message.

Can anyone help me with a resolution please.

Grateful as always Pete

Try a factory reset or disconnecting the power supply for a wee while. You may need to re install the Igo app after that.

It sounds like your data for iGo has failed for some reason.
I would take the card out and install the iGo again (I hope you had it backed up)
Ken.

Erm no I haven't backed anything up I only received the unit from Sean in November and only recently installed it in the car. The igo icon is still displayed and I get the same message "insert card etc" I have even tried installing from the apps installer the unit then asks me to select the location ie the sd card drive and it responds with no file found. It seems to me the sd is corrupt as it is not being read.

Sean / Jeff if you are reading this can you help please.

Gratefully, Pete

I`m sure Jef will be here soon. Have you tried taking the card out to give it a wipe with a cloth.
Cannot think of anything else for you.
Ken.

Can you go to the file app on the unit and see what files are present on the micro SD card?
Let us know what (if anything) is showing on the card and we will go from there.

If you remove the card and then re load it does the unit detect the card removal and re insertion ?

If yes then the reader is functioning and it looks like a corrupt card, if no then it could be a fault with the card reader.

Have done that and the system doesn't report card removal or insertion the unit just instructs me to insert the igo card even though it is already inserted. I have even removed and reinserted when prompted yet the card is still not recognised.
