Default Looking to buy .... Still

Ok, as the Original post got hijacked lets start over

Hope this is allowed, I've posted previously in "wanted" without any success.

I am looking for a MINT Connie SE or Contemporary SE
Mark 2 Car - Saloon or Tourer
No 1.8's - Prefer larger engines.
V6 or Diesel
Auto or Manual.
Must be very High Spec, with History.
No intergalactic Mileages.
Ready to buy now no real budget, but certainly no more than 3k, needs to be a daily car as I have bought a stupid car that I don't want to use every day.
Thanks in advance

Yes I have spoken with him. I'm buying to keep and whilst I am interested in his car I would Prefer a Connie if possible.

How about an oddball?

2005 Mk2 Connoisseur SE diesel automatic

119500 miles, cruise, message centre IPK, heated memory double piped leather seats, PDC, PPD walnut dash, walnut gearknob, walnut handbrake, full stainless exhaust.

Fully serviced with all of the usual niggles that plague these cars sorted out, with a choice of either 18" 11 Spoke wheels including spare, or 17" Serpents again including a full size spare.

It will come with a full 13 months MOT as of the 27th of this month.

You will not need to be a wallflower to drive this car though, it is finished in Platinum Gold pearlescent over Monogram Spice Supertallic, you will forget that when you are behind the wheel as you are cocooned in the non rattling trim cabin, enjoying the magic carpet ride.

The reason for sale, I don't like the way cruise control operates on automatic models, and my wife point blank refuses to drive it because of the lack of clutch pedal

It will be priced around the £2500 mark, which does not reflect the huge amount of money that has been spent bringing this car up to scratch, but you will stand out from the crowd and be safe in the knowledge that nobody else was foolish enough to specify a Monogram option of a Duotone in such a Marmite scheme.

So a one of one, you either love it or hate it, or a bit of both

Is this the one at the Waggon & Horses meet earlier this year? I thought it was stunning colour scheme! If I had the money and space I wouldn't be ashamed of it on my drive!

Thanks again

This one is a bit more than the 3k you want to pay, but maybe he's negotiable? sounds like what you are after, and low miles for a diesel.

This one also seems to fit your criteria?
