Default 7.22684.09.0 - revised Pierburgh MAF

Wondering if anyone's tried these over the 7.22684.07.0? Looking at replacing my old PB MAF, and 320D owners report the 7.22684.09.0 being slightly superior.

I had considered this maf sensor, but when I emailed Roverron, he had tested this and found it not compatible with our car.
I assume you have a MAFAM from him, to be able to run your pb 07 sensor, as without one it will not run properly.
