Default suffered a "theft"

We put a box of chocolates on top of our dustbin for the dustmen on Monday as we do every Christmas. They got taken by someone else.
I bit they wish they had seen our cctv camera pointing in that direction before they took the chocolates.

Made a phone call Monday and a chasing call Tuesday.

Got home today to find a replacement box of chocolates on the door step.

Will try leaving them out Monday for the dustmen.

So, perhaps a soft centre does exist? Luckily, you have some ammunition for the future.

If left on top of the bin could it of been classed as rubbish and therefore possibly not theft in the usual sense
