Thanks freddie. I guess that looks like a connector coming out the bottom of it- is that the one you mean.
Seems like early facelift did have the sensor . Mines a early facelift does have the boost sensor between the EGR and intercooler

So far as I know, its not a boost sensor, it an IAT, an intake air temperature sensor.

The MAF contains a temperature sensor, but for some reason they stopped using it on the later cars and added this extra item.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

I suppose it has to be less than the original part to be worth it, they do last about 80-100k miles after all.

Just had mine £88.20
So it seems its £7 cheaper to order a single pipe and cut it yourself.
Making it £7 more For less pipe

Am I correct in thinking that THIS is the OEM equivalent of the silicone 1 piece, non sensor variant?

I could justify paying a little extra for silicone, but double is excessive.

Not had my bill yet, that joy is waiting for me when I get home to check my emails!!
