warning subaru alloys !
i have just bought a set of very clean subaru alloys for my cdti connie after reading on here many times that std scooby alloys are a perfect fit, got em home cleaned up the caliper thought a coat of paint since you will now see them AND only to be kicked in the spuds cos they dont fit !
they foul my brakes, do i have special brakes or is it the case that they dont ALL FIT just some any advice ! |

They all have the right bore & PCD. They don't all have the right offset (as I found out).

Yes and Yes in answer to your question if the wheels are not fowling too much, what are we talking about 5mm?
You will have to careful that the wheels do not protrude past the wheel arch. Yan |

Spacers and longer bolts then, much cheaper than a caliper swap!

well it says on the inside offset 55mm which is different to what the chart says = 42-50 but hey ho the rover offset is 35-50 so am i right in thinking when you add a spacer you reduce the offset ? which means a 5mm spacer would put them at 50

Hi there,
Which Subaru wheels did you buy so others will know to be wary? I have a set of Subaru 7 spokes on my CDTi with no problems. Derek
