Another cold dreich day, could just have copied and pasted what I posted yesterday.

Got the excitement of a trip to hospital later, appointment with the liver specialist. Strangest problem I've ever had, there's no outward signs, not a bad thing I suppose as according to the specialist if outward signs do appear things are deteriorating!

Evening all, What a miserable dark wet day it's been, It's never stopped raining since first thing this morning, The garage floor is as wet as ever & my names like mud because I've broken a piece of the plastic freezer drawer off trying to force it closed.

Appointment went quite well, nothing to report from either the last ultrasound or blood test. One bit of good news, they're going to change the blood pressure med I'm on. The liver problem can lead to enlarged blood vessels in the gut, hence the frequent (detestable) endoscopies, the new blood pressure med targets said blood vessels eliminating the need for a camera down my throat . . . . I won't miss about that!

Just been out to the wheelie bins - strewth, the wind out there is cold enough to cut you in half.
The old duper SER, my dad had about 3, one in his cellar and two in the living room. It was cheaper for him to use them than the central heating as the flat had a long corridor and high ceilings

My wife has to have one of those every3 years due to a strong family history of stomach cancer. She doesn't want the sedation so boots for the throat spray which she says is worse than the endoscopy itself.

Morning all, lashing down here at the moment, makes a change from the frost I suppose.
