Samsung Galaxy S2 for sale

As I have now got a Samsung Galaxy Note, I'm selling my Galaxy S2.

It's in excellent condition, just under 1 year old. Looks like new! I've reset it to factory settings with the latest version of Android installed (Ice Cream Sandwich). Comes boxed complete with charger, headphones, battery, USB cable, instructions etc.

Comes with a Mofi pouch case and a leather flip case, and also a Kidigi desktop dock + charger. Also included is a Brodit phone mount for the S2; for those who don't know, these are the best mounts available and come in two parts - one part designed for the specific car model you have (choice of three locations on the dash), and one part specifically for the phone you have. So you'd just need to buy the car specific part for your vehicle.

So that's over £50 of accessories included.

(Originally supplied by Vodafone - I have no way to be 100% sure if it's locked to their network, as I don't have a non-Vodafone sim card to try. But I do know that Vodafone don't usually lock their high-end contract phones, so I'd say I'm 99% sure it's not locked. Worst case scenario, it would only cost about £10 to get it unlocked at any phone repair shop/market stall)

Mrs D bought one of these 8 weeks ago, Brand New in a factory sealed box for £290!

Also as the S3 has just been launched, lot's of people getting rid of the S2, so there is a glut on the market at the market, so well done!

Well, of course I didn't get £290, as I did a deal without any of the accessories

Oh, and the S3 isn't launched until the end of this month.

Out of interest, how are you finding the Note?

I am very tempted with one myself, but just a little worried that it may be too big!

It's brilliant. You get used to the size very quickly, I couldn't go back to the S2 now, because it seems tiny in comparison. The S-pen is very useful; playing DrawSomething is dead easy with it!

Just wish Samsung would hurry up and release the Ice Cream Sandwich update for it (due any day now...)

Hhmm ............. how come the S2 had I.C.S. rooted?

Sounds good! I will get my bottom into gear to get it ordered ASAP!

(btw, as my last two phones have been Windows Mobile, I have no real idea what all this ice cream sandwich malarkey is all about, although I am aware of it's existence!)

No, not rooted... the ICS update for the S2 was released about a week ago. The Note update is to be released shortly, apparently it required more testing to ensure compatibility with the S-pen.

So. If I get a Note, do I wait until this update has happened, or can I get one and then do the update myself?
