Wire Mesh Grill MK1 ZT
Is the top wire mesh grill black plastic surround sealed/glued into the bumper on a MK1 ZT?
I have taken out the lower mesh grill, but the top grill has a black plastic surround that seems to be glued/sealed to the bumper along with screws facing inwards (screwed in from face of bumper). |

It does come apart from the back,it is screwed on and then unscrew the mesh off .. not sure this makes sence but you will see when the bumper is off. my screws were all at the back tho ...

Its decieving mate it comes of easily have another look. You might have to cut the plastic welds from the inner part and the grill comes off, revealing the mesh which is screwed on

Thanks fellas, all done.
It is deceiving, had to carefully skim along the plastic welds. I'm just stripping my original bumper for parts, not sure what to do with the third one. It does have a 6" crack along it, could be repaired or I could use again for parts. |

I have just taken mine off and it was just screwed form the back, nothing to cut, perhaps someone at sometime has messed with yours, as it should part easily...
ha ha see you have sorted it now lol... |

Another thing I didn't know, the fog lights have plastic cover surrounds.
I thought the bumper was one big molded shape... Always learning. |
