The only problem with Imps is that their engines had a horrible habit of breaking in half - a bit like this one:

Thanks for sorting my pics, GG. I see you've always had excellent taste in cars as well. I owned a TR5 and TR6 briefly as well but the TR4 was my first TR so was my favourite, but I think that the TR5/TR250 was the best they made because they had the looks of the TR4 but with the 6 cylinder engine and independent suspension.

I agree entirely. I stuck 3 twin choke webbers on mine for a while it really did make a difference
I must have rebuilt certain parts of that car several times over in the 12 years I owned it. What with chassis welds cracking up and the rust. Still loved it to bits and would have another at the drop of a hat and £20K to play with.

As it happens, my mother bless her is baby sitting a scimitar on her drive for the bloke next door. Don't ask the exact model but I could find out if you want. The story is that it once belonged to the Sales Director (I think) of Reliant and it might be for sale!!! PM me Rob if you want me to chase it up. (It's blue btw) located in Sutton Coldfield.

Years back, my wife had a Scimitar Mk1. I couldn't handle it in wet weather; she did though! Very scary!
I even got it stuck on our level driveway in icy conditions, well 3 Litre car weighing about 1/2 hundredweight, what could you expect?
Electrics nightmare, that car.

It's tempting, but it may have to wait a while until I start raking it in with this new job. Unless of course its silly cheap
