Default GGGGRRR when customer services cant help

I want to pre order 2 glasses of champagne for my wife for her return flight with virgin from the USA. A surprise for my wife and her friend.
Virgin can find her as a passenger but as I don't have a booking reference they cant/wont help me, they wont give me any details, understandable but they wont take my payment over the phone and do the order for me.

I cant be the only person that wants to give a nice surprise to a loved one on a flight but the unable to help part baffles me.

found an email from wife's friend so I know who the travel agent is, I can try them tomorrow
