Afternoon all, It's finally stopped raining so I've got all the doors open on the garage to dry it out.....again.

It's already started! Fireworks

deadwood kids letting them off in the street coming home from school, deep joy.

I don’t miss listening to brats letting fireworks off one bit, the joys of living in the middle of nowhere, the dogs are quite pleased too.

It was nice and peaceful in the middle of nowhere near Holt when I was last there until ww3 broke out in the early hours ... or it seemed like it when the local poachers pitched up with their shotguns.

Had one of those last night while out with the dogs, a 4x4 turned up with a searchlight, a few gunshots a couple of fields away!

The dogs were a tad unhappy.

Off to look at a couple of cars that are For Sale near me, just looking.

Been raining most of the night here. Damp and looking like more rain to come this morning.

Ivy (Mother in Law) was not very well last night when we saw her at the home.
She has been taken into Hospital in the small hours of this morning so Ros and I will be up there later.
Hopefully she will be improving by the time we get there.

No cat rescue visit today because of going to hospital. We may pop over tomorrow at some point......After the Japnese Grand Prix and BTCC Final from Brands Hatch.

I wasted two hours watching "Mortal Engines" on Sky Cinema last night, great special effects but little else going for it.
