It cost her £1000 for the X-rays + being put to sleep & disposal of the horse this morning.
Not to mention she had to get a stable for it 9 months ago which was local because they're like rocking horse droppings locally.

Nine months of paying for an empty stable and now this! It's been a disaster an expensive one at that.
So sorry to read that Ian.

It's enough to deal with the trauma let alone the financial costs

Hi Ian,

I am sorry to hear about your daughter’s horse being put down. It is little consolation, at least the horse is no longer suffering. I used to go horse riding on Lord Bath’s estate through the White Horse Stables. He used to let the horses from the stables exercise through the woods and meadows of his land free of charge. It’s another option for your daughter to consider, using a horse through privately owned stables until the new one has been born and is ready for a rider. I realise, it’s not ideal.

Afternoon all, It's not been a bad afternoon with some sunshine.
I've done nowt except to take Mam to her clinic appointment this afternoon to get her leg wound cleaned & a new dressing on.

Roast chicken thighs & sweet potato fries for tea.

Afternoon Phil, Thanks. I've not spoken to her as to what she will be doing regards another horse! She's always had a horse since she was around 16 years old.
she's a bit too upset at present at the moment.

She sees to her friends horse every evening due to her friends work commitments.

Never been on a horse . . . . never really had any desire to be on a horse! Need to be a Clydesdale anyway
