190 ZT Catalytic Converter
Parts catalogue confusing. The tailpipes on my car have moved across to the nearside of the bumper trim,so i got underneath expecting to find a split rubber. All the rubbers are fine and intact.Put cable ties around each offside rubber hoping it would pull across, which it did to a point but not enough.I then could see the problem was the actual flexi part of the exhaust by the catalytic converter. Its not blowing or leaking at all but im assuming its just gone softer as the car is a 52 plate and its the original cat.Looking at the EPC its not very clear as to what to actually order,so was hoping someone on here may have replaced there cat on the 190ZT.
1 part number is WCJ000391SLP this is referred to as Converter assembly-manifold exhaust sysytem.........the other part number is WCJ000391SLPP which is referred to as the Catalyst.Does the extra P stand for pattern? Its the flexi part that has gone weak so need the part that this is attached to..Anyone got experience of them? The term 'P' on it's own usually means a non-OEM pattern match as far as I can deduce. 'SLP' means Service Line Part so you can figure the SLPP yourself. Here's Rimmer's drawings, which include the numbers. I believe they explain the meanings of the lettering system elsewhere on the site. Just surf around, I'm sure you'll find it.
