My new full-sized spare arrived, along with my reserve wheel, which I'll keep in case I have a cracked Serpent at any point. Really pleased with how good the wheels are, and jet need to work out how to full remove the writing, which I eroded to some degree, but it's still very obvious.

Tyres are cheap rubbish, but will be fine as a full size spare, and a reserve wheel.

Lovely looking wheels Fraser!

If you are referring to the yellow writing, try some IPA, not the Ale, the other stuff... Should shift it.

Actually I really fancy fitting some straights on my car, but all the ones I seem to find are in really bad condition - must be just bad quality finish on those...??

I absolutely love Serpents - one of the best wheels in my opinion.
I loved my early 75 with them fitted.

Thanks Bill! Tried some IPA, and it made some impact, along with a scourer, but hasn't really had the effect I desired. Will try again when the rain subsides.

Regarding straights, I've noticed a lot of them, and Hairpins, have really thin paint. Best bet is to get the scruffiest, cheapest set refurb'd well, or buy an already refurb'd set.

Removed the rear seats, soundproofing boot carpet and trims of the new ZT

Baled out 1/2 a gallon of water, removed the rear lamps cleaned everything up and fitted new lamp seals.

Let's see what happens next time it rains
