Actually, Morrisons have had the average prices quoted there for the past week - I did a bit of panic buying on Friday - panicking that the 10p drop was going to be short-lived!

Wonder is the Chancellor will now push through that 2p rise in Duty which was postponed.

I think that in doing so he would be committing political suicide, not just for himself but for the government by proxy.

Oh - I forgot - this is what they are so good at

Add to that, of course, his attempt to depress a stagnant housing market still further by his ridiculous hint of stamp duty suspension...
