What a fantastic day. The cars looked very good and the weather was terrific, we were blessed. Many thanks to Scribler ( Mike ), for arranging the day. The boy done good.
Nice to meet old and new faces, and pick up some good tips, one of which I can't mention here for security reasons ( Door Handles ! ). That was a real gem. I also had my 'Jules Plenum Mod' fitted, because I was to daft ( thick ), to know how to do it. There's always one
Great piccies from Mangoman (Bill), well done, you made the cars look even better.
Question, how does a snail get in someones engine bay (you know who you are). Does it hitch a lift as you go by, or worst still did it catch you up , or did it take the long route, tyre-wheel-suspension etc, Who knows, but it was cooked ready to eat.
Anyways, great company, great cars, great venue, great weather, and we realy must do it more often

Thank you once again Mike for organising this little 'GTG', (Get-To-Gether as I put it) not to mention the pride of place on 'The Green'! We sure did attract some attention..... Not forgetting the 'Extras' which was a very generous surprise, and also very much appreciated!

I'm already looking forward the Xmas one as I didn't make it last year....

Thanks again and stay well - Ciao for now.....

Some great pictures there, and it sounds as if you all had a cracking time. I'd love to get down to one of these if I can in the future.

Default Sorry I missed it

I really wanted to attend but important family things got in the way. Perhaps next time, certainly sometime.

Although all your cars look like they are in showroom condition. Mine on the other hand looks like what it is: a lovely car well looked after but driven by someone who should have surrendered his driving lience a few years ago or got more powerful glasses.

Lovely looking cars take a bit of work (which I don't mind) and a little money (which is short after purchasing the car) to get mine in that order.

I thought that use of this optional extra was obvious.

If you place a snail in the plenum drain tube (from under the car) it slowly munches its way through the organic debris and then arrives at the plenum. After munching any leaves etc, in this area (until completely clean) it then makes its way to check out the inlet manifold. (V6 variants only).

Unfortunately, due to a design fault, the heat causes the inner component of the snail to vaporise. This results in the shell only, (clearly seen in Post 56, photo 2) which causes a rattling sound from the inlet manifold. A common occurrence, not often understood.
