Another update, the build date of my car has come forward..........by a whole week
Still struggling with the concept of waiting MONTHS for a car, not hours!

I cheered myself up by taking some screenshots of my spec car from the MB website!

I also gave the ZT a good run yesterday. I had been trying to avoid putting additional miles on it as it's provisionally sold however it turns out that when it's raining and miserable the TF makes an awful commuting car so I spoilt myself with the ZT.........I will miss that car!

Certainly a good choice!

As for those who think this Mondeo looks good... Please. Ford haven't built a decent looking car for years.

A very good friend of mine has an i8, one of the very few in the UK. As some of you will know the German eco colour is blue and when you get near the car it starts to pulse with blue light! The whole interior comes alive like it is a living thing. The future is here.

I really like the i8, it's one of the very few current BMW's that doesn't look like it's been punched in the face! We had a weekend test of a 520d and there was an i8 parked next to it when we picked it up, I think it looks even nicer in the flesh then it does on pictures and TV, as you said very futuristic but unfortunately also way outside my budget!

The C class also feels quite futuristic anyway especially when you press the start button and nothing happens apart from some dash lights coming on. It's then eerily silent until you get up to around 20mph and the diesel engine fires up. Electric cars are obviously the future and I rather suspect that this may be the last car I have with an internal combustion engine.
