Default Quick visit to Spain & Gibralter

Hi its me again Zed on another tour, this time to sunny! well almost Spain and a day trip to Gibralter.

First of all just chilling out after a tiring flight.

Then me just hanging out, to dry I think cos it was quite wet.

Day two it was off to Gibralter to visit some of big Jims friends, more of that later.

Anybody guess what kind of car I'm in yet

Well we did spot some 75's in Spain but this was just as we were at the border with Gibralter.

and another one within just a few yards.

MGee that's a big rock, almost 1500 feet high.

Not a 75 but a tidy Gibralter registered 620

Ah the secrets out I'm in a B class Merc and very nice too with powerfolds etc. We ran it all week and still didn't empty the tank.
Unfortunately because of big Jims friends I was advised to stay in the car to guard it.

And here he is with one of his friends on the rock ,Jims the one with the furry jumper

Coming back down off the rock in the Tour mini bus this one was spotted.

And would you believe it just a few yards further down this one. The kind driver stopped for this shot.

Gibralter is well worth a visit if your near the Marbella area as we were for our break.
Now this is nothing to do with Rovers but it is to do with Rollers.
Taken at Peurto Banus where all the glamour yachts and top end cars are I spotted this roller but can you spot the fault.

Also spotted on the day were several Porche Panameras, Aston Martin DB9's and of course the Bentleys' but no Ferraris or Lambos' which was odd I am told. Just to finish it off I had a good look at the new Evoque, but not really impressed.

So this will probably be Zeds last break with me before he is off with another member touring the globe. We have really enjoyed having him along with us.

Oh! and the fault on the Roller, did you spot the nearside front wheel now remember it's left hand drive and yes of course its the RR logo which was sitting at an angle. They always sit perfectly level, even when running along the road.

Thanks for the pics....... Nice!

Buthere's a question that I've only just thought of, on which side of the road do they drive there? Because I see a lot of LHD cars!

Thanks.

Although Gibralter is British owned they drive on the right the same as Spain.
They do still use Sterling as currency and in fact have their own Gibralter pound still with the Queen on it. It's best to take Sterling with you for shopping as they charge quite a bit changing Euros.
Again I was really quite surprised to see so many 75's in Gib & in Spain.
