Default The power of sounds

Hi

Many years ago, in fact 1982 if I recall correctly, I went to Perth Theatre with my then girlfriend and her parents. He was an Architect and had a brand new Rover SD1 2600s Automatic. I just loved the sound of that car.
Last night Wendy and I went to the New Perth Concert Hall, Horsecross, to see Dougie MacLean and guests in concert. A fantastic night.
Anyway, we went in our V6 and I have to confess the sound took me right back. There is a definite similarity in sound. It is scary how a smell or sound powers you back to events years ago.
Driving home afterwards the V6 purred through a particularly windy and dark night.....what a nice place to be!

I really do like our cars.
Anybody else had similar throwbacks?

Chris
