When I spoke to a waiter about it on holiday in Tangiers, he said no one told him to wash his hands. I tried to explain about washing hands, but his case, I think it was ignorance and when I asked for a clean fork, he took one from another customers plate, wiped it on a tea towel he was wearing on his arm and then handed it to me smiling. I gave up and walked out.
Afternoon, Phil. I don't usually visit this section of the forum but your post caught my eye.

Of course, there is a school of thought that we are all too clean these days and this means people do not build up sufficient immunity. Kids really need to be grubbier and allowed/encouraged to play outdoors in muck!

Laptop is back up and running, going to treat it to a RAM boost, currently 2gb (2 x 1gb), ordered 2 x 2gb for under fourteen quid!
Windows 7 64 bit OS? If not there is a workaround to get the extra RAM working in 32 bit.

I am surprised that anyone reads some of the garbage I spit out on here, but you make a strong point, which I heartily support.

I know what you mean, tried it on a previous laptop and it didn't really seem to make much difference. Doubling the RAM for under fourteen quid is OK by me.

No garbage from you Phil. Very valid what you said and I would have bolted for the door quicker than a quick thing myself......and it's not like me to run away from food

Still on the healthy stuff Getting worried about you. When I went for the diabetic review a week or so ago the doc mentioned my weight. I was about to start making excuses when he said I'd lost just under 6 kilos, just shy of a stone since my last review. Came as a surprise to me but was probably a factor in them saying they don't want to see me again.

Thanks Jeff, most kind

I met with the solicitor this morning and she is going to take my case on. With that matter we discussed elsewhere, it’s a relief and takes the pressure off. She thinks we might be able to avoid going to court
