Default Water ingress?

It could be water interfering with the electrics.
What I do know is that water tends to pass through the body panels of my tourer hatch, and also around the wiper motor area on the rear too. It basically seems to go wherever gravity takes it. Luckily, it tends to go right on out of the car most times. This seems to depend on the angle you park at.
I would not worry too much about this at the moment. The Tourer rear hatch is not the best bit of design on the 75. But it does do the job. If it gets worse, then remove the hatch panels and investigate. They are not difficult to do.
