Top Trumps, if I were sensible

If I were sensible I would not be feeling smug but more worried about getting into trouble. I feel I played Top Trumps with a manager and "won" but of course I will always lose.
A manager wanted work done, I ask why, he replies and I send a top trump email showing work done 2 months ago and don't get a reply.
He has access to the same systems I have.

If he was managing the job properly, he should have known it was done. Especially two months down the line.
