Nope! In 22 years I managed to avoid the place, apart from passing through there to & from the Falklands.

Was it a bad base to work on,then Tatts or are you on about the sadder, work involved on the base I think the documentary is more about the daily lives of the service men & women

Work on.

The 'sad' work that happens there now is long after my time in the RAF.

For me the place was a pig to get to & from when I wanted to go home at the weekends. It was also too big for my liking, both geographically and personnel wise. I always preferred the smaller bases - you got to know more people on the smaller bases - as strange as that may sound! Smaller queues in the Messes and bars too!

Best time I had in the RAF Tatts was when I seconded to the Army I don't think they could make head or tails of us

Your not wrong Steve

Sarcasm can sometimes get lost in translation in text

Would have watched it if I had Sky but cant really justify it for the price. Maybe if I was more into sport

Ahhh . . . . earth man's humour

Sorry Jay, that one ruffled my hair as it went over my head. We have Sky, documentaries, films etc but not the sports, it's primarily football (no interest), golf (no interest) and cricket (cure for insomnia). I'd like the F1 but no way in hell I'd pay £22 a month for it
