Got mine on confused.com with Peoples Choice who are just a trading brand of one of the big co's. £299 on a CDT conn SE, no accidents, about 10 years protected bonus, 15k miles a year and with one SP30 (3 points) and only a £100 vol excess. The post office were cheaper by a few quid but they wanted a stupid £250 vol excess! It would have been a lot more but having the wife on the policy brought it down quite a bit.

It is. I remember insuring my MGC GT. It was worth about £10000 at the time. The brakes and handeling were interesting at best, ishe did 0-60 in 8 seconds and would top 130 mph. A classic car policy that would not allow my no claims (because it was on my Rover 820's policy) cost £65.
The Rover 820 worth £2500 0-60 9.8 seconds top speed 120 mph, great brakes and good road manners cost with 65% off £300!!!!!!!

Which surprises me. Like I said, this area is not exactly a warzone, and the insurance on my boy-racer Pug (for the same address) was pennies.

Anyway - looks like I am going to go with MoreThan. Still have not been able to beat the price they offered and I can't think of anyone else to try.

Not a massive difference but join Quidco for £40 cashback off the price (£35 after the £5 yearly admin charge deducted)

Lloyds tsb and others are offering much higher cashbacks too. They are not normally the cheapest but worth getting a quote direct from their website and see if cheaper after the £120 cashback is obtained.

My dads insurance cheapest quote was £108 for a c3 but Lloyds tsb was £162 but got £120 cashback with topcashback making a nice £42 for the year!

Between Quidco, topcashback and Rpoints I have had a total of £650 cashback on online purchaces of goods and insurance which I would have got online anyway. That's in the last twelve months too.

Simon.
