Default oil leak

well mrs monty spotted oil under the car yesterday, so this morning time to take a look, it was around the centre jacking point and wasnt a great deal, so i jacked it up using the centre jacking point and this is so much easier (2.5 tonne high lift trolly jack) than using the sill jacking points, off with the under tray and found it pretty much straight away.

the leak was from the oil cooler return line where the stainless pipe connects to the rubber pipe, so tightend the double jubilee clip and bobs ya uncle and fannys your aunty, no more leak

i know some folk think using the centre jacking point isnt too safe but i found it so much better, just make sure the back wheels are well chocked and the hand brakes on

Interesting. And I've never seen a double jubilee clip like that before.---

Done that in the past John when I haven't had a jubilee clip big enough for the job.
