Magstaff
I own a 2002 Rover75 Estate. Can anyone tell me why there is a sound like a very small stone hitting the windscreen every now and again even when stationary. Also a sort of whoop noise which seems to happen more often when the air conditioning is on. Not sure if that is anything to do with it or not. Asked garage and they have never heard of it. Other than a mouse caught in the engine compartment I have no idea. Can anyone help?? Many thanks, Magstaff

A whooping noise is to do with the air-con.
I think that you either need a re-gas, or there is a cooling fan problem.
