If I lived somewhere like a city-centre or somewhere dodgy then I can see the point of it. But everywhere else, it's completely pointless and just causes your door locking actuators to wear out quicker (as I have found out).

With 'lock/unlock button' on transmission tunnel you have best solution, as/when in a dodgy or unfamiliar area if you feel at risk, hit button and lock all doors, otherwise leave open as in vast majority of cars/drivers/journeys.

No, the BCU has nothing to do with the engine management system...period.

If T4 sees something it doesn't like it won't reconfigure it, this is one occasion where the complexity of the equipment outstripped the knowledge of the operator.

Shame you are about as far away from me as it is possible to be, otherwise I would have sorted it out for you

Colin on the other hand is very close to me if he'd like any T4 options changed

First had it on my Merc 'A' Class and then on two Skodas.

The only problem I have with the 75 is that unlike my other cars, the doors don't unlock on turning off the engine which means I have to resort to pressing the centre console switch or pulling door handles twice.
Aye he wouldn't, it's a bit like having Scandinavian Daytime Running lights Enabled at Morpeth

Nothing to do with the remap, likely to be a Vin mismatch problem or operator error

I'm sure you're right, I'm just going on what Sean and Col said at the time.
