Default cdti engine oil

I have 2 x 5 litre castrol gtx 10w-40w A3/B4 which claim it is for petrol or diesel engines ...am I ok to use it in my cdti..I would hate to waste it....my car has done 68000 miles and has full service history...Any help appreciated.
