Another pass
The Tourer passed it's mot today. Alas like the saloon
it failed on headlamp aim. The tester adjusted it and then it passed. I am not surprised the Tourer failed as I had had both headlights off and replaced one earlier in the year. I had asked if they could do a beam test before the MOT but they said no, no time. Advisories on the Tourer, corroded brake pipes and a slight leak at the back box. Looks like I'll be getting my hands dirty soon. macafee2 |

Mine didnt. Both back springs broken; removed then today and found each was broken in 2 places. Right at the bottom with about 1/2 a coil left in the rubber thingy and the 2nd break was about 2 coils up. It also failed due to the air bag light coming on - think they must have moved the seat.
Spring replacement good oportunity to de-rust and preserve the rear suspension arms. Mucky job but fortunately got car in the garage. |
