Default Another leaking boot question...but slightly different

Hi Guys,

My ZT boot leaks no surprise there I know, I am sure one of th ingress points is from the rear screen clips. Now I have found the ‘how to’ that talks about repairing this and it looks like the previous owner started to try to fix this, I say started because the first clip on the left of the boot has snapped where he has try prizing the rubber trim off.

Now this concerns me because I guess knowing my luck they will all snap when I try to do it as I am a crack handed frigger.

So question is what are my options here? If they do all snap is that a screen out to replace? Has anyone just filled the entire gap with silicon and then gorilla glued (or similar) the trim back in place? How else can this be done?

I want a watertight boot but with minimum hassle is that too much to ask?

Thanks

Si.
