Default Plnety of work too do.

Hiya all how's everybody doing.

Anyone got any jobs on there cars this week?

Got quite a bit too do, first stop is paint too finish off my two tone project probe at last.

I hate the prep work been prepping these now for the last few hours, Take about a hassle tho.

That T spoiler is a pain keeps reacting every minute so, that's going too have to be redone again, this is time I'll fiberglass it as well, quite a bit of damage on it.

But I think the ZT spoiler will suit the probe quite nicely when its finished.

Regarding Using Fiberglass anyone got any tips?

I've found that the front bumper replacement has quite a few cracks at the bottom and I have too say its a bit daunting.

I've done simple damaged areas but this is a different league .

Nice one Andy cheers mate, I take it I can make it thicker with each layer?
With the size of the cracks I'm going too need a lot of it, How does it take too set in?

I'll have too work quickly if it hardens too fast.

That glass fibre mash paste is good stuff for reinforcing plastic bumpers, it's a pig to rub down by hand, I always used a flap wheel on the grinder if I could get to it.

If the speed bumps here are anything to go by they will be in for a clobbering, even my Rover 75 scrapes underneath on the damn things here.

Its great stuff managed too repair a major spit underneath and its holding up well, the deep scratches how ever I'll need body filler for that.

I've bought fibre glass back out again 2moro and get it done and proper.

No wonder this bumper was so cheap.

Paid 50 bucks for it.

Got my panels sprayed thanks too my mate Tom he's done a great job on them fair play, just the roof which needs redoing again and the front bumper and its good too go. Going too need too repair the bumper before it goes quite a few cracks and started with the fiber glass and body filler as well.

Hopefully next month MOT and get it back on the road and use it, I hope if no bills or anything gets in the way.

So what have you all be been up to since the weather has started too warm up enjoying the rays? 8)

It looks like you've been busy Dave, good job.

I had a slow air leak on one of the alloys on the Rover and of course it was on the side I couldn't get the airline to, so I took the battery maintainer off and got it out of the garage to change the wheel & give it a wash & brush up.
