Default Acccesory Fuses

If you'll excuse the pun, I'm confused.

Page 205 of my owners manual shows Fuse 12 (10 amp) for Accessories socket, Fuse 15 (15 amp) for the Cigar lighter and Fuse 16 (20 amp) for Accessories Socket.

Am I missing something - are there alternative sockets already wired in somewhere as I've only got the cigar lighter in my car, the fuse to which has just gone while using a tyre inflator :-(

the fuse positions are on all later cars.as is the feed for the fuses.however you need the connector which fits into the above mentioned fuse positions to give you the feeds.in simple terms you have you have a hole with the feed you need the pin with wire for the other side.this was taken care of by rover with the link lead kit which vanished a few years ago.

The manual is showing fuses for items which may, or may not, be fitted.

Fuse 12 will be for the torch socket if it is fitted, fuse 16 will be for the accessory socket if it is fitted.
