These for me were one of the real winners of last Nights Britain's Got Talent TV show.
Beautiful, Talented, and can Play, great to watch and listen to.
...and Simon has now given them a deserved recording Contract.

You'd have to be brain dead not to give them a recording contract -they're inspired.

It's a very nicely made video too. Perfect location. Watch the smallest one (Izzy? - right of shot in the opening frame) - look at the graceful way she moves around the beach. Fantastic stuff.

They are excellent - but one thing bothers me slightly. Cowell said they were unique - but thay are not - there is already an all girl electric string quartet by the name of 'Bond' (3 violinists and a cellist). Bond have also recorded McCartney's 'Jet' and the tune on the video linked above (the two tracks played in the contest).

So yes, they are good but they are neither the first nor unique.

Vanessa Mae did this 10 years ago, so yes, good, but far from unique!

They were good but not win worthy IMO. Also, close up only one of them is *really* attractive, again IMO.

I saw a chap play Madonnas 4 minutes on his violin the other day. If eScala had done that it would really have made the crowd take note.

Just a bit repetitive for my liking.

Also, what did they change their name half way through?

Brilliant!
My youngest daughter (8 years) plays violin and was very pleased to see these. However, she's got a long way to go to get to this performance level

Personnally I also like violins; they sort of remind me of the pistons in a V engine...

Apparently there is a choir group or something from Belgium called Scala. It is reported that EMI threatened to sue the girls if the name wasn't changed.

I think they are very talented and very attractive girls. However the choice of song really does it for me i.e. Karl Jenkins’ “Palladio”. Any group that can play that song well will sound good. "Live And Let Die" didn't really do it for me at all.
